Orders

Cake Haven accepts online orders for products offered through the website. An order is subject to availability and is not considered complete until the required payment has been successfully processed.

Cakes and sweet add-ons

Sweets & Tea-Time products are offered only as add-ons to an order containing at least one celebration cake. A sweets-only checkout is not accepted.

Weekly cutoff, pickup and delivery

Orders received by Thursday at 11:59 PM are intended for the upcoming weekly fulfillment window. Customers may select free Friday pickup from 2:00–3:00 PM at Clay Oven, 648 Talbot Street, St. Thomas, or Saturday home delivery from 2:00–3:00 PM in the supported St. Thomas delivery area for an $8 delivery fee. Orders submitted after the cutoff may be scheduled for the following week.

Custom products

Because cakes are handcrafted, small variations in colour, piping, decoration and placement may occur. Custom requests are subject to confirmation and may involve additional charges.

Allergies and dietary requests

Customers are responsible for communicating allergy or dietary concerns before ordering. Cake Haven cannot represent a product as allergen-free unless that capability is specifically confirmed for the order.

Fulfillment information

Customers selecting home delivery must provide accurate contact and delivery information. Delivery addresses are collected for order fulfillment and are not displayed publicly. Customers selecting pickup are responsible for collecting the order during the stated pickup window.

Changes and cancellations

Requests to modify or cancel an order should be made as early as possible. Once ingredients have been purchased or production has begun, some amounts may be non-refundable.

These terms are a practical operating policy for Cake Haven and may be updated as the business grows.
